One becomes conscious of presence of people around.  The feeling is there, what people will think about me?  Am I doing right or wrong?

We often find people who are inclined to get embarrassed easily.  For them, it is inevitable nature of their interactions with others.  But the feeling of burden is there and they want to ease the same by some or other effective ways.


Some times they wonder how to stop being embarrassed so easily.

And enjoy the natural process of flourishing, expanding like flowers in the nature.

The more serious thought process make them realize that yes, there is some basic reason. More serious contemplation by them lead to the conclusion that yes, there is answer.  And the answer is obvious. Lack of self confidence.

Lack of self confidence leads to hesitation in every ordinary act of the individual.
As a result one becomes conscious of presence of people around. The feeling of “what people will think about me”” Am I doing right or wrong?” dominates one's mind. As a result one gets embarrassed now and then.

What is the practical solution?
Well,  one must take calculated efforts to build self confidence.
For this, continuous process of learning be adopted. One learns out of own experiences. But then in a normal life span how much time one can devote to learn from own experience? One life time will not be enough.
Therefore one has to learn from experiences of others. That is learning from wisdom gained by others from their own life experiences.

A lesson learned from experience is wisdom.
And one of the effective way of getting introduced with wisdom of others also is personal interactions with others. But it involves a lot of time and related resources management.
Another effective way is to read quality books depicting quality thoughts and ideas useful for desired transformation in life.

I know, I do not need to write about Sir Albert Einstein.

In the last fortnight I happened to be on the tour to Europe. 

Few more of my next posts will be about the same.

But the first I am writing about is the experience I had that touched my heart and mind.

Our tour manager narrated few interesting anecdotes of Sir Einstein, which are well known world over.

Einstein museum Bern 

The Einsteinhause (Einstein House) is a former residence of Sir Albert Einstein converted in to museum.  It is located in Bern, Switzerland.  Sir Einstein and his family occupied the second floor flat from 1903 to 1905.  

The very famous theory of Relativity as a contribution towards founding work of modern physics was written here.

During this period Sir Einstein worked at the Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.

Now, about the heart and mind touching experience.

There is a statue of Sir Albert Einstein sitting on a bench in the open compound.  Tourists are allowed to take selfies and photographs with the statue.

I humbly felt I was not qualified even to sit besides the statue of Sir Einstein.  I was feeling as if Sir Einstein himself was sitting in person on the bench.  How realistic the statue is ! But my better half prevailed upon me. The result is this photograph I am sharing with my readers.

My feelings at the time of writing this post-

I feel I should give credit to my better half for this experience of taking my own photograph along with the statue of Sir Einstein. This is because, basically I am never inclined to be sort of crazy, expressing my liking towards famous  personalities and celebrities. And my better half knows this very well. But on this occasion she insisted on me to take my photograph along with the statue of Sir Einstein sitting on a bench in the garden. And thus, the photograph !

Now, remembering  my feelings at the time the photograph was being taken.

Although it was a statue of Sir Einstein, I felt as if I was sitting besides Sir Einstein, the greatest Scientist who introduced Modern Physics to the human being.

This made me feel very humble,very obliged, very much honored, being given great respect to me.

I think this is what we feel in the live company of the greatest towering personalities in the world.

This was really a unforgettable experience I had in my Europe Tour in the last fortnight.

Here, I am sharing my own experiences with the readers the effective ways to find peace and serenity in daily life.

Here, attention is given to consider a few effective ways to follow  for finding peace and serenity in daily life.

Naturally, health of mind is more important as it has direct impact on physical health.

Therefore, mind must be fresh, alert and vigilant.

To get the mind fresh, the effective way is to enjoy natural events like sunrise, sunset, birds chirping eagerly and energetically to welcome the sunrise and so on.  Sunrise is preferred to sunset.  In my personal experience, I find sunrise more inspirational and mind refreshing.

This act immediately brings us close to the mother nature.

Here, I am sharing my own experiences with the readers what to do  to find peace and serenity in daily life.

The important pre-condition is  that one must be sincere in own approach. There should be no trace of any doubts in mind.

Naturally, health of mind is more important as it has direct impact of physical health.

Therefore, mind must be fresh, alert and vigilant.

To get the mind fresh, the effective way is to enjoy natural events like sunrise, sunset, birds in the morning chirping eagerly and energetically to welcome the sunrise and so on.  Sunrise is preferred to sunset.  In my personal experience, I find sunrise more inspirational and mind refreshing.
  
Seashore at the time of high tide is another such example.  One can find so many things.

And in the company of the mother nature, we feel so secure and receiving her love like a child sleeping in the lap of its mother.

Seeing beautiful flowers (not in bouquet or garland etc.) is another effective way.

Chanting the name of God (Japa) is another effective way. Different types of rosary are used for the purpose.

But as I have said earlier, one should be sincere in own approach.  I have seen many people while I was commuting, holding the rosary in a cloth bag or plastic bag covered duly so that no body can see and engaged in chanting the name of God.  They often used to look out of the window to see which station was approaching.  This type of chanting the name of God is not advisable.  Even few people I have seen doing it in a speed.  I think in such cases, the process becomes sort of a mechanical one, there is not emotional involvement.

Chanting of God's name should be in the way we enjoy chocolate  or icecream which we do by enjoying the taste of the same in our mouth,especially the tongue. We just do not gulp the same with water like we do while taking tablets.

The purpose of chanting God's name is to block the way of the thoughts trying to enter our mind.  

It is like this - having completed one cycle of the chanting, there should be a gap of time.  Feel the inner silence.  Enjoy the emptiness in the mind. And the moment we see any thoughts trying to enter the mind, start the next cycle of chanting the name of God.  And so on.

The entire process ensures minimum thoughts during the period of chanting, thus, getting the mind free from burden of thoughts.

Such a mind is comparatively more fresh,light, alert and vigilant.

We should avoid getting our mind engaged in past regrets and future worries and train it to remain in the PRESENT.

It is our experience, our mind is constantly engaged in  finding out ways and means to apply in pursuing some or other desires.

The effective way to keep the mind burden-less, is one should have no desires in life. 

One should always give happiness to others in a self-less manner.

This paves the way for experiencing happiness and serenity in daily life.

Having applied our sarasar vivek ie power of discretion, one is able to set own goals to be achieved.  And of course,the next stage is challenging one. 


HOW TO SELECT THE PATH TO ACHIEVE THE SET GOAL


At this stage one finds temptation of shortcuts irresistible, which most likely include amoral, unethical practises, as also unlawful practises to achieve the set goals in a shorter period of time, involving minimum of  hard work and sacrifices at personal levels.

If one understands and respects  the meaning and significance of ideal values of life, one will not yield to such temptations on the path of achieving set goals. 

It is obvious one is tempted to opt for a common easy path with smaller reward achieved in a  shorter duration. It is human tendency to look for comfort, ease and attractive rewards while pursuing the set goal. It is another matter that one realises the fact that such rewards are not long lasting. 
Then what are the long lasting rewards and how they are realized? 
One must be aware that the success achieved by sheer hard work, personal sacrifice while pursuing the goal is long lasting and has potential to give one the feeling of fulfillment in life.
The consideration of a common easy path with a smaller reward be avoided and the more difficult uncommon path demanding hard work and sacrifice but which promises a more valued reward should be preferred which justifies the achievement significantly.

HOW TO SELECT THE PATH TO ACHIEVE THE SET GOAL

What our sarasar vivek suggests ?
For this purpose, one must view the things in a proper way - understanding the significance of the life values, the polarities in the values like truth and untruth, right and wrong, moral and amoral, and so on.

This awareness one will make right choice while making decision.

Having this awareness I think one will definitely prefer a more difficult uncommon path with a more valued reward which prove longer lasting in the course of time paving the way for attaining fulfilment in life also.
