Dear Friends,

Out of my own experience as responsible parent of my two sons, both engineers, observing how they used to  beat the exam stress and anxiety, here below I share some thing worth for you to tackle effectively the issue of  'how to beat exam stress and anxiety'.

Anxiety is a result of one's own scare in mind whether one  can beat the exam stress or cannot.  Having determined to beat the stress of exam you will be able to overcome the anxiety.

Remember,stress is initially a strong motivating factor making you aware of the set goals to be achieved. 

Therefore,take stress positively.

The need is to have  a peaceful mind. You know,peaceful mind enables you to tap the mind force effectively in time.

Remember the incidents when you got stuck up not able to recollect some important formula? And more you tried desperately the answer eluded you. And then when after getting tired,while relaxing the mind,all of a sudden there it was, the formula itself staring at you mischievously!

This is how mind functions.

For relaxation of mind,use music, cartoons of Tom n Jerry, Laurel n Hardy, Just for Laugh Gag or any comedy film. Hearty laugh relaxes mind to a great extent. 

Have short naps occasionally.  This enables mind to get fresh and alert.

Have full faith in your inner wisdom.

Well, when you are doing some thing wrong,  the source that warns you against it is your inner wisdom. 

In fact,this is the vital force that guides us in our entire life.  Never ignore it. You will be amazed to realize that it is the most dependable power every one has.

Follow your biological clock methodically.

Have greatest respect to your parents and teachers. Never forget to express your  gratitude for their efforts put in your education.


It is proven fact that feeling and expressing gratitude ensures healthy mind and consequently the body.

APPLICATION OF VISUALIZATION TECHNIQUE

For this,visualize the scene where in you have already achieved your dream completely. 

This is just like running a video in slow motion.
It is advised to make use of your five sense organs- speech,touch,smell,hearing and taste.


For example, you hear telephone rings,you pick up the phone,feel the touch of the receiver,your close friend on the other end congratulates you for your astonishing achievement,''my God!' you say excitedly, "Mom, at last, I have done it !"  You announce with excitement and your mother hugs and feeds you sweets,you really feel the sweetness on your tongue,and your father approaches,patting on your back.

This is only a sample visualization. You may develop it as per your requirements.
It is a proven fact that this techniques gives more than the expected achievement !
The above technique should be applied just before going to bed at night and immediately after getting up in the morning plus whenever you find relaxed time.

REMEMBER :  AS YOU VISUALIZE, THINGS WILL MATERIALIZE IN REALITY !

POSITIVE  SELF AFFIRMATIONS BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP 


This relaxes your mind and builds determination and  self confidence.  These are two-three short lines which are read and repeated in mind ten times. 

Below are a few examples :


  1. I AM CONFIDENT.  ALL THE POSITIVE FORCES IN THE WORLD GUIDE ME ON THE PATH OF SUCCESS. I AM GRATEFUL !

  3. I AM HEALTHY, CONFIDENT AND CHEERFUL.  I AM GRATEFUL !

On the above line, you can write down your own self affirmations depending on your subjects and needs.

The above way is adaptable in every exam in life, not only academic ones.

We may have regrets related to our childhood, teenage, young age and so on.

Is it normal to have regrets in life?

It is absolutely normal. 

How to stop regrets in life?

Best way is to forget them.  

How to handle regrets?

We should not allow the regrets to dominate our thinking. And have the attitude of - what happened, has happened and cannot be taken back.


What are regrets in life?

These are essentially related to the past experiences.

And mind goes contemplating - if only I were ... sort of imaginary situations and the resultant comfortable situations one could have been.

But even to think about them is futile exercise leading to waste of time and energy resources.
Because what happened has happened and can not be reverted. No one can bring back time.

But unawareness of this leads to inevitable effect of bringing the burden of regret on the mind, getting it agitated,restless and thus suffering from it's effects  on own health.

Therefore wisdom of elders teach us not to have regrets about past in the present.

If we contemplate on the following, life will definitely be regret free.

Having life values makes us different from animals.
Ahar,bhaya,maithun and nidra are characteristics of animals. 
Meaning eating,instinct for survival,procreation and sleep in theses processes animal life is spent.
Ability to think and aspiration for seeking happiness makes human being superior to animal.
For this, there are universally accepted human values- freedom, peace and love.
These are essential requirements for healthy coexistence, conducive life environment for all.
Mercy,pity,love,compassion, looking at world as a family, and striving hard for welfare of all members of family irrespective of race,religion,castes, achievement of universal peace in healthy manner are most important aspects of life .

Having come across recently with the term Health Band I started to find out more about the same on internet.  What I gathered information about the same prompted me to write this post.

So let me start.

A devise which is in the form of a wristband used for monitoring of our health status related to our day today physical activities is a fitness band.

A fitness band performing specific health related tasks is a fitness tracker.
